Arlene, usually performers don't live very long. You see the drugs, alcohol, etc. reach critical mass along with everything else that comes with life and old age take there toll.

Heard this age 13 with my transistor radio earplugs late at night playing on Radio Caroline. That voice, I was well and truly smitten. Every single and every album since. RIP sweet Scott, such a large part in my life although we never met 💔

I watched Scott's TV series on the BBC way back in the 60's . I was an absolute Scottophile - loved the bones of the man . Some pillock at the BBC thought it would be a good idea to scratch all of the visual series ! WTF ? So now we only have the audio version and we cannot appreciate the God that was Scott in all his splendor . Also , all his lovely guests ! Such shortsightedness ! 😡 😡
